Also known as an ‘Artist’s Alley’ the Art Market at the show is for independent artists, authors,
and crafters to display and sell their creations. This a great place to find some fan art or
commission a drawing from an artist, find a unique cosplay item, or discover an indie manga
or web comic!
There will be a free breakfast in the Hospitality Suite Friday morning during set up for vendors and exhibitors!
Tables will be lined up along the walls in the hallway of the main event areas of the hotel for
vendors and exhibitors to display their wares. Tables are standard 6-foot banquet tables provided
by the hotel. Each table includes table cloth and 2 chairs. Electricity is available at some tables
but you must have your own power bars and extension cords. *Only power bars with surge
protectors may be used. Tables may be shared between only up to TWO vendors; both must be
registered to the table BEFORE the day of the event. Each table will include 1 3 day membership
Art Market pass –additional passes (up to 2) may be purchased for $25 each. These badges must
be worn at all times when on the event floor. Badges are non transferable and have no cash value.
These badges will allow you access to your table for early set up on Friday morning but they will
not permit you the same access as staff or security at the event.
* - The show reserves the right to deny space to any vendor or person found to be in violation of
the rules and regulations of the I.H.A. No merchandise of an adult nature may be displayed or
distributed at this show. This is a FAMILY event! No Hentai, no Yaoi or Yuri –if it is of a sexual nature
at all it can’t be at this show. No persons or businesses found to be distributing or selling merchandise
of any kind that violates known copyright laws will be permitted. No food sales or distribution of any
kind may take place in the Art Market. No weapons or sharp objects may be sold in the Art Market.
Artists may play music and/or videos at their tables provided they keep the volume at an acceptable
level so as not to disturb the other vendors and attendees. Isles and door ways may not be blocked
and must be kept open for safety reasons.
If you wish to have merchandise shipped to the hotel for the event it must be clearly labeled with
your name/business and ‘DFW HEDGEHOG SHOW’. The hotel will not be responsible for lost or
abandon packages and neither will the Show. The hotel has carts to help with loading and unloading
but they MUST be returned to the front desk after use. If you are loading or unloading at the event space
entrances please do not leave your vehicles unattended or block the fire lane for an inappropriate
amount of time.
IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL FOR ANY REASON YOU MUST DO SO BEFORE 07/01/2010. You will be eligible
to receive a 50% refund of your registration fee only if you cancel by this date! If you cancel with the
show after this date you will NOT be compensated or refunded in any way.
This is a CASH ONLY Vendor Room!
There is an ATM in the hotel Lobby and several banks and gas
stations with more ATM machines close by!
Violating the rules of the vendors room, general show rules, or the rules of the I.H.A. at the event may
result in your being asked to leave the show without refund.
